Really good Hospitality in a Prime Location
The staff were really nice, especially the concierge who swiftly arranged a taxi for us when transportation was scarce due to a city strike. We loved taking in the view from our Twin Room with the terrace doors open, despite the city sounds.

We liked everything in the hotel! Hotel after renovation, rooms are clean. At check-in we were upgraded to the category of rooms, gave us a bottle of wine, which was very nice! The hotel has a wonderful new bar, and Brasserie du Louvre - Bocuse - above all praise! There are Paul Bocuse's restaurants all over the world, the Brasserie du Louvre is the first brasserie in Paris. The breakfasts are amazing! But the most pleasant thing for us at the hotel was the staff's attitude to their business! They met us hospitably, were very attentive to our requests. Special thanks to the supervisor of reception Julia. Highly qualified specialist, attentive and responsive person!
There's no such thing.

Charming location with little quirks
The morning croissants were amazing, setting a good tone for each day. The staff were attentive.
Our room was smaller than expected was good. The noise from the street was noticeable at times, which disrupted the tranquility we hoped for.

Very central location, making it the perfect base from which to tour the city. Very spacious room (Junior Suite) with a huge and very comfortable bed.
On arrival late afternoon, the room was not ready. The room's safe did not work and, despite informing staff of this, nothing was done. Despite having a suite, there were no complimentary refreshments, such as tea and coffee, or the means to make any such drinks. The hotel is near a Metro station, so every time a Metro train passed, which was about every 4 minutes, including during the night, the floor and bed vibrated and there was a loud noise, thus ruining the experience of the great bed. The decor throughout the entire hotel was also shabby - it was clearly very grand many many years ago, but now has the appearance of a well-read book. All-in-all, not what one would expect of a 5-star hotel in Paris or anywhere for that matter, especially considering the cost of the suite, so disappointed and, whilst planning to return to Paris, I will not be staying here again.

The location - it was right in the heart of Paris, close to everything that we wanted to visit. Also the staff were extremely helpful, booking restaurant tables for us and explaining where to catch sightseeing trips etc
Our room was too hot and the air-conditioning did not seem to make any difference.

The quality of the rooms, decoration, and space are far far less than shown in the pictures and indicated in the hotel desciption.

The best about hte hotel is its location - just next to the Louvre, between two squares, walking distance to everything I wanted to visit (never took a taxi or any other kind of transport). The receptionists were English-speaking and nice and helpful. The room was spacey (stayed in a junior suit), as well as the bathroom, cosy and clean. In fact, everything in the room, as well as the service, could be compared to a 5* hotel (including the cosmetics in the bathroom). Plus, the free WiFi is a nice addition to all.
The hall and the corridors need renewing - the first impression of the hotel lowers ones expectations because of the old and a bit dirty common spaces in the hotel. Another thing, is that the air-conditioning was poorly working and it was a bit hot, but I just turned it off and opened the windows from time to time. Also, unpleasant surprice was the thinnes of the walls - I could hear every slam of a door and footsteps, however, no one really made noise, so I slept like a baby. One more thing about noise is that the windows of my room overlooked an inner yard and when opening the window there was a bussying sound from the air-conditioning or other machines. Overall, these were quite minor problems and didn't spoil my stay in the least!

Our family loved the beautiful view of Comedie Francaise from our room. The breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for all our sightseeing adventures.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly activities or a play area for them.

The reception manager, Mr. Mattiew, was very helpful. The Superior room was too small but the manager helped finding us a bigger deluxe room. The location of the hotel was great.
The bathroom in room 450 was very cold. Also, the noises from Lift and people using lift was loud until very late at night. The room 450 needs improvement.
